If I Can’t Dance… is a rolling curatorial project based on performative practices, which departs from a spirit of open questioning and a long term enquiry with artists.

If I Can’t Dance… explores how feminist thinking on all levels (social, artistic, political, theoretical, ideological or structural) may be important in our cultural life.

Currently it focuses on the legacies and potentials of feminism(s) in relation to art today. Inspired by the quote of Emma Goldman, “If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution”, the project explores the critical and celebratory implications of this statement in artists’ work.

FC Poppesnor is young collective that, in the first place, organizes monthly feministic cafés in Antwerp. We stand by a feminism that bubbles with energy and continually seeks new connections: figuratively, by dealing with the overlapping of realities, as well as literally, by openly collaborating with groups and organizations that have roots in different social movements.

Gynaika supports the principle of equal chances, stands for spiritual development, inner enrichment, openness and understanding. Gynaika pays a lot of attention to gender in the artistic world, to female artists, to diversity of culture, to social aspects in the world of art and to social-artistic projects.

bolwerK is a non-exclusive, temporary constellation that has initiated, curated, mediated and facilitated diverse projects locally and internationally since 1998. Her ‘open’ network is the basis for collaboration and the triggering of internal and external group dynamics around relevant social issues.
bolwerK considers art the ideal context for producing thought and reflection upon society. Art creates a meta-layer, a framing of perception in which social, economic and political issues, norms, and values can be questioned.

IGVfest integrates video art with the urban landscape creating an interaction, both physical and virtual, between the public, the location, and art. Transforming public space into a fertile ground for experimentation toward new possibilities for art in the social context.
